It went pretty okay alot to adjust to and have to have resurgury because my case was an over active stomach. which was why i had reflux as bad as i did. its a long recovery

if I remember correctly mine took about 6 hours..but I had a small complication during surgery

I had the surgery done on my 21st birthday…I think it’s supposed to last 4 to 5 hours…
I’m 26 and my specialist just have suggested I should think about the fundoplication. I’ve got significant GERD disease since some months and the Omeprazole 40 mg doesn’t really help. Do you think your surgery has made the difference?
It’s been a year since I had mine done and it has made a HUGE difference..once you are fully recovered and can eat again you will notcie the difference when you eat sleep drink. I highly recommend it
@Kuner1 u can ask for a stomach emptying test to see if your stomach is too active or not active enough…
I have been diagnosedwith silent reflux, struggle to talk and breathe at times and im forever coughing my voicebox burns and i get pains in my lungs, I’m on medication but it seems to do nothing, should i go for this operation?
